Joe Strummer - The Clash

Joe Strummer, front man of The Clash, was one of the icons of punk, and he sustained a career long after punk was just a memory.

This image was shot in Belfast in 1999, three years before his very untimely death in 2002.

Joe was a remarkably nice man. He signed 'London Calling' for me, and asked for the polaroid of this shot to bring home to his wife.
