Michael Jackson

The 'King of Pop' played two nights in Cork's Pairc Ui Chaoimh, in July 1988.

Usually photographers get three songs to take their pictures, and after that, the performer can relax. On this occasion, we were given two songs. With adrenalin pumping, I shot as MJ spun around and swept his hand downwards. This image goes some way to capturing the feeling of watching him perform.

Quite simply, I've never seen a human being move like that, before or since. Jackson was a mesmerising performer.
