Rory Gallagher

 In 2023, it's impossible to imagine, but there was very little for Irish rock fans to hear live in the 70's. Rory Gallagher was one of the few acts who played all over Ireland, and during The Troubles was one of the only artists to regularly play The North.

Rory was a consummate performer, a great songwriter, and an outstandingly talented guitarist. He was at one stage wooed by the Rolling Stones to replace Mick Taylor, but he decided against it.
