Shane MacGowan

If he had only written A Fairytale Of New York, Shane MacGowan's place in the pantheon of great songwriters would be assured. But the fact that he wrote dozens of other classic songs, such as A Rainy Night In Soho as well, means that he's close to the top of a very small list. 

While his penchant for a 'glass of wine with a meal', is well known, he's also partial to the odd cigarette, something I think this image captures very well.
